Biography

Margaret Mita Sambo is a project management professional with over ten years of experience overseeing complex research and development programs, with a strong focus on program coordination, grants management, and financial oversight to ensure effective delivery of development initiatives.

She currently serves as Project Development and Administration Manager and Unit Lead and Board Secretary at the African Agricultural Leadership Institute (AALI), where she coordinates project development and administrative processes in alignment with donor requirements and organizational strategies.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University. She is also PRINCE2-certified in Project Management and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), including the Kenya Chapter.

Throughout her career, she has supported diverse project portfolios by overseeing grants management, budgeting, financial management, and program coordination processes. She is recognized for her ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and partners, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and high-quality implementation of development programs.

She combines strong technical expertise in project and financial management with a collaborative approach that contributes to effective program delivery and strengthened organizational performance.
