Biography
Christian Bahati is an agricultural engineer and project coordinator with over 6 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, agribusiness operations, and community-based development across the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
He currently serves as Operational Project Assistant at the African Agricultural Leadership Institute (AALI), where he coordinates the “Bongola Fulu - Initiative” in consortium with RIKOLTO International, a bio-circular economy project focused on : Biocircular opportunities around organic wastes valorization in Kinshasa’s urban markets. His responsibilities include leading field operations and youth incubation. He previously gained experience in large-scale plantation systems +32 000 hectares and agricultural research through roles with Plantations et Huileries du Congo - PHC SA and IITA.
Christian holds a postgraduate degree in Agronomy Engineering and is pursuing a Master’s in Management and Business Administration (MBA), strengthening his expertise in project management, leadership, and sustainable economic models. His key strengths include project coordination, circular economy operations, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability-focused solutions.
