Biography
Omodolapo Ogunsola is a development professional focused on youth empowerment in agribusiness, with a strong commitment to promoting youth employment, entrepreneurship, and leadership within Africa’s agricultural transformation agenda.
She currently serves as Unit Lead and Youth in Agribusiness Manager at the African Agricultural Leadership Institute (AALI), where she leads initiatives aimed at strengthening youth participation and leadership in the agricultural sector, while supporting the development of inclusive agribusiness opportunities for young people.
Prior to joining AALI, she worked on the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) program implemented by the African Development Bank, where she supported youth economic inclusion in agribusiness across multiple countries, including Benin, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Through this role, she contributed to identifying and supporting young innovators driving agricultural transformation on the continent.
She brings expertise in agribusiness advocacy, program management, impact storytelling, and the design of youth- and women-focused agricultural empowerment strategies. Her work has also involved supporting large-scale initiatives centered on community engagement, leadership development, and multi-stakeholder collaboration in the agrifood sector.
She holds an academic background in Anthropology, Applied Communications, and Development Leadership, which supports her ability to combine social insight with strategic program implementation.
