Biography

Solomon Ogunade is a finance professional with extensive experience in accounting, payroll, and financial management, with a strong background in financial operations, systems management, and organizational controls.

He currently serves as a Finance MIS Consultant at the African Agricultural Leadership Institute (AALI), where he focuses on Management Information Systems for financial operations, supporting improved data accuracy, reporting, and efficiency in financial processes.

He began his career at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) at the age of 20 as an Accounts Clerk and progressively advanced from Grade 1 to Grade 14, building strong expertise in accounting and financial administration. During this period, he obtained the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) certification and gained hands-on experience in financial reporting, payroll management, and internal controls.

Throughout his career at IITA, he worked closely with senior leadership and managed financial and administrative responsibilities in complex operational environments, including involvement in sensitive compliance and fraud investigation processes. These experiences strengthened his integrity, analytical skills, and ability to handle high-responsibility financial functions. He further applies his expertise at AALI to strengthen financial management systems and enhance reporting, transparency, and operational efficiency across the organization.
