Currently, AALI operates in the DRC (where its head office is located in the Province of South Kivu in Kalambo: Obasanjo station of the IITA), in Nigeria, and in Kenya.

By 2032, it will expand its operations to 17 other African countries which responded positively to the call for engagement at the Feed Africa Dialogue – Harnessing Innovation and Technology for Food Transformation. food systems, organized by AfDB and IFAD, on April 29-30, 2021.

These countries are Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Lesotho, Mali, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
